Terrence Butt, Learn to Skate/ Learn to Play, Girls & Mite Director for Terrier Red
Terrence Butt joined the Boston Junior Terriers in March of 2017 as the Director of Hockey Operation for Terrier Red. A 1991 graduate of the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, Terrence went on to play both hockey and baseball at Holy Cross College. A four year letter-winner, he garnered Academic All-American honors in both sports during his season year. He was also recently inducted into the Holy Cross Hall of Fame in 2018 for his accomplishments on the ice and on the diamond.
After graduating from Holy Cross in 1995, Terrence put his Economics/Accounting degree to work at Ernst & Young LLP where he received accreditation as a Certified Public Accountant. He then returned to Holy Cross as an assistant coach for both the hockey and baseball teams. During his 6 year involvement with the hockey program at Holy Cross, teams he helped recruit and coach went on to capture 3 league championships and earn 2 NCAA national tournament bids. He also attended graduate school at Clark University, earning a Master of Business Administration degree in May of 2004.
After departing Holy Cross to work as an associate athletic director and head varsity hockey coach at BB&N in the prestigious Independent School League for 12 years, Terrence is excited to focus his hockey efforts for the Terriers moving forward on the Mite, Girls and Introductory Terrier Programs.

Craig Nigro, Youth Hockey Director & Operations Manager for Terrier White
A native of Weymouth, Craig played for Weymouth High from 1993-1996, and finished up his playing days at Bentley College. Craig began coaching goalies during and after college, both with Joe Bertagna and independently at every level from mites through High School. Craig has been with the Boston Junior Terriers as both a bench coach and skills/goalie coach for 5 years and was previously with Weymouth Youth Hockey for 3 years. Craig is the current head coach for the 2006 T1 team and also the current goalie coach for Archbishop Williams High School. Craig will be handleing all player, parent, coaching concerns/ questions/ comments out of Bavis arena from squirt minor through midget split season teams.
Seamus Galligan, Director of Player Development & Skills Operations for Terrier Red
Seamus Galligan has been playing and coaching hockey for the better part of 30 years. His passion developed at an early age while honing his craft skating in the rinks of Southeastern MA. After attending Northfield Mount Hermon Prep School, Seamus went on to play 4 years for the Dutchmen at Union College followed by 3 subsequent years at the professional levels. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of being influenced by both great players and coaches and he looks forward to sharing his knowledge and passion with the next generation. Seamus has spent the last 4 years working alongside Brian Pothier as a lead skill instructor for Pothier Blueline Hockey. Galligan holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
Mike Hoffmann, Director of Player Development & Skills Operations for Terrier White
Mike Hoffman is Director of Player Development and Operations, Terrier White. Hoffman brings an abundant amount of experience to the Terriers, professionally playing in the NHL, AHL and Europe over 10 seasons (2003-2012). With a Master’s Degree in Sports Management along with his playing experience + coaching/developing thousands of youth players over the past 3 years, we are excited to have Mike on board.
Paul Vincent, Power Skating & Skills Development Consultant
Paul will serve the Terriers as an advisor in the area of skills development and power skating instruction. He will act as a consultant to our coaches on a monthly basis and will develop the curriculum we will use for all of our Terrier teams throughout the season. Paul is currently the skating coach of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and has worked with NHL teams for over a decade in a similar capacity. His stable of players that have played at the Division I and Professional levels is endless. When he isn’t in Florida, Paul and his wife reside on Cape Cod.
Marty King, Director of facilities at Canton SportsPlex and Bavis Ice Arena
Marty is a long-time hockey coach having coached with the Dynamos and Jr. Terriers in his past. Marty has coached young mites through high school players for over 25 years! Marty has the enormous task of making sure that both buildings are and continue to be operational to the highest standards to allow us to play the best game on earth. Marty and his wife, Stacey, have three children and reside in Weymouth
Mike Grier, Assistant Coordinator of Player Development
Mike returns to the area after a 15-year NHL career, playing over 1,000 games with the Buffalo Sabres, Edmonton Oilers, San Jose Sharks, and Washington Capitals. Mike and his wife have two children.
